Michael A. Eden, 72, of Gardner, KS went to be with his Lord on May 23, 2015 at Menorah Medical Center.

Michael was born May 26, 1942 to the late Clarence E. and Anna Elizabeth Eden in Kansas City, Missouri. Mike attended Argentine High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Trudy Carter. Mike was a lifelong Christian and loved his Lord and Savior above all else. He began working on 18 wheelers at the age of 18. He worked for White Motor Company for 20 years, before transferring to K.C. Freightliner. He retired in 2010 after over 50 years of service as a diesel mechanic. During his long career, Mike worked in every aspect of the industry.

He was a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by siblings, William "Bill" Eden; Henry Eden; Barbara Nemecek; and Lawrence Eden. He is survived by his loving wife Trudy of 53 years, 5 children, Michele R. Rhines, and husband Paul; Patrick M. Eden and wife Angie; Ann M. Burris and husband Rodney; Debi K. Eden; Matthew P. Eden; a sister, Emma Stirlen; 8 grandchildren, Andrew (Meghan), Anjelica (Bob), Ashlee, Jessica, Ariel, Zachary (Zayle), Alise and Gionna; 4 great grandchildren, Kaylee, Raelin, Lindy and Marley.

Celebration of Life Services and Visitation

A Celebration of Michael's life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
