Michelle Lynn Henson

Michelle Lynn Henson, 47, Mission, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.

Michelle was born October 2, 1964, in Merriam, Kansas. She attended Shawnee Mission North and Shawnee Mission West High Schools. Michelle was a diehard Chiefs and KU Jayhawks fan. She was an avid collector of Nike tennis shoes.

Survivors include her mother, Glenda Henson, Mission, Kansas; father, William (Judy) Henson, Rocky River, Ohio; sister, Lauren (Aron) K. Flagg, Fairview Park, Ohio; aunts and uncles, Wanda Wright, Larry Wright, both of Shawnee, Kansas, Stacy Wright, Highlands Ranch, Colorado, William Dale and Carol Henson, Independence, Kansas, Joseph Henson, Mount Sterling, Illinois, Sharon Loyd, Rosemary Henson both of St. Louis, Missouri; nephew, Liam Butcher, Fairview Park, Ohio; and many cousins.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Antioch Church of the Nazarene, 7600 Antioch, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Memorial service will follow at 10:00 a.m., at the church.
