Mickey Rogers Wiseman

Alleta “Mickey” Maxine Ginn Rogers Wiseman was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away on Thursday, July 7 at the age of 96, surrounded by her friends and family.

Mickey was born in Maysville, Missouri on November 16, 1925 to Glenn and Jennie Ginn. She was first married to Harry Rogers in 1944, and together they had four children: Charles (Brenda), Nancy, David (Brenda), and Rob (Val). After Harry’s passing in 1996, Mickey married Bob Wiseman in 2001, who passed in 2020. Mickey was preceded in death by her siblings, Elton, Willis, and Glenadyne, and her grandchild, Kelly Long. She is survived by her four children and her grandchildren: Charlie, Nic, Andrew, Grace, and Lucie.

Mickey loved spending time with family and friends. You could count on an entertaining story and a laugh from time spent together. She never said no to a game of cards or bingo. Her door was always open and the drinks were always cold for friends, family, and neighbors, at her home in the Lake of the Ozarks and in Shawnee. She would make sure you were never hungry when you came to visit!

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13 at 10 a.m. at Amos Family Funeral Home (10901 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, KS 66203) with services to immediately follow at 11 am. The family requests that gifts be made to Cross-Lines Community Outreach.
