Mileena Kai-Lin Su

Mileena Kai-Lin Su, Age 1, died on Sunday, June 5th, 2022, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Mileena was born on May 28th, 2021 in Overland Park KS, to parents Cassandra and Dennis Su. Mileena was known by her friends and family as the praying baby because she would often hold her hands together in anticipation of being held. She was a very happy baby, always in a good mood and smiling. Her big sisters, Quisitis and Calypso, were always watching over her. Mileena loved her family, especially her big brother Tobias. Tobias was always by her side, giving her raspberries and making her laugh. Mileena was a naturally calm baby who loved the company of her siblings. Just days away from standing on her own and enjoying all the new foods. Mileena was by far the best eater.

Mileena is survived by her parents Cassandra and Dennis; her sisters Quisitis and Calypso; her brother Tobias; her grandparents, Lynn, Bill and Diana Trotter; her great-grandmother's Caryln Gomez and Ruth Trotter; her aunts and uncles Mai-Lin and Timothy Malone; Kim Su and Patrick Delperdang; Jon Trotter; her cousins Angelina Malone, Talia Delperdang and Kevin Trotter.

Amos Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, located at 10901 Johnson Dr, Shawnee, KS 66203. Visitation will be at 13:30 with a service at 14:00 and a reception immediately following. The family encourages all who knew Mileena and her parents to share memories and celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that guests donate to the Mileena Kai-Lin Su Memorial Fund, which goes directly to Children's Mercy Hospital to help other children and families along their journeys. She spent a lot of time at Children's Mercy and all the staff there has been amazing. Children's Mercy has been a huge part of our journey with Hirschsprung's Disease.

The family will be wearing Burgundy/Maroon to the Celebration of Life, and invites guests to join in wearing the Hirschsprung's awareness color in her honor.
