Molly Taylor passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sept. 1, 2021. She was born June 21,1936 in Joplin, MO to Cliff and Marguerite Congdon. Molly grew up in Baxter Springs, KS. She graduated from the University of Kansas where she met her husband, Bill Taylor.
Molly loved helping young people discover a passion for learning during her 30 plus years of teaching.
She was an avid sports enthusiast and loved her Jayhawks, Chiefs, and Royals.
She spent many hours also cheering on her grandchildren at all of their sporting events.
Molly loved animals, especially dogs. She was a long time supporter of the Humane Society and rescued several dogs over the years.
Molly is survived by her children, Scott Taylor, Julie VanWormer, and Suzy(Todd) Fruehling, 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Molly was preceded in death by her husband Bill Taylor and her grandson Tyler Fruehling.
Molly's family is having a Private Graveside Service.
