Nancy Chancellor, a resilient and courageous individual, passed away at the age of 76 in Lenexa, KS, following a valiant battle with cancer. She peacefully departed this world, surrounded by her loving husband Mike and devoted sons Aaron and Grant. Nancy was born on December 24th, 1946, to Christine and Lee Dennis in St. Louis, MO.
Nancy was an exceptional woman who excelled not only as a beloved mother and wife but also as a highly accomplished Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ultimately rising to the esteemed position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Her family and friends fondly remember her as a compassionate, generous, and selfless person, always ready to lend a helping hand. She cherished her dogs, Sophia and Apollo, and found joy in cooking, exploring different destinations, and her cherished 1969 Mustang Mach 1. Her kitchen was forever filled with the aroma of delicious dishes lovingly prepared by her skilled hands.
She was preceded in death by her parents Christine and Lee, as well as her brother Glen. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband Mike and her adoring sons Aaron and Grant.
The funeral service to honor Nancy's life will take place at the Queen of the Holy Rosary on July 5th at 10:30am, following a visitation at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Red Cross in memory of Nancy Chancellor, an organization she held dear to her heart.
Nancy Chancellor's extraordinary journey touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to have known her. May her memory forever inspire us to embrace compassion, generosity, and love in our own lives.
