Nancy Elizabeth Delgado

Nancy Delgado passed away peacefully on September 9th in Olathe, Kansas surrounded by her family at
the age of 79. Nancy was born on July 7, 1942 to Russell & Myrtle Jenkins in Kansas City, Kansas. She
married Joseph Delgado in 1959 & they moved to the Turner area of Kansas City, Kansas to settle down
& start a family. Family was incredibly important to Nancy & although she worked many different jobs
outside of the home, she also enjoyed being a room mother for her 4 kids while they were in school. She
was always ready & willing to put others before herself, including any of the neighborhood kids who
needed a place to go or a hot meal. Her quick-witted humor, loving nature & generous spirit will be
greatly missed.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Delgado, her son Dennis Delgado, her father Russell
Jenkins & her mother Myrtle Jenkins. She is survived by 3 children; Joseph Delgado (Yana), David
Delgado (Maryanne) & Jeanette Glasscock (Michael); 10 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
