Nancy Rothe

Nancy A. Rothe, 70, of Overland Park, passed away Wednesday, July 29, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born May 8, 1945 to the late Max Moss and Lorene Brown. She was member of Olathe High School class of 1963. She was an amazing seamstress and loved making quilts for her family and friends. Nancy enjoyed making many of the clothes her children wore growing up. Nancy and her mother also loved to make porcelain dolls and all the clothing for them to wear. In November of 1991, Nancy married her best friend and soulmate, David Lee Rothe, he preceded her in death in June. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Moss and Steven Brown. Nancy is survived by her loving children, Kevin Ashcraft, Brian Ashcraft and Karla Ashcraft; four grandchildren, Jill Ashcraft, Jamie Ashcraft, Keith Ashcraft, Sarah Ashcraft and 6 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Nancy's life will be 7 p.m. Monday, August 3 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
