Nancy Lee Thursby

Nancy Lee Thursby, 68, Basehor, KS passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Nancy was born Nov. 22, 1946 in Kansas City, KS to Rush and Martha Fisette. She was a 1964 graduate of Turner High School. She was employed with Puritan Bennett for over 23 years, retiring in 1998.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Steven N. Thursby in 2013, son, Steven N. Thursby II in 2008, father, Rush L. Fisette in 1958, mother, Martha Fisette in 2010 and brother, Bo Fisette in 2005. Survivors include her daughter, Denise (Richard) Garner, Basehor; sister, Linda Fisette, Kansas City, KS; two grandchildren, Derrik and Macy Garner, Basehor, KS; father-in-law, Neil Thursby, Overland Park, KS; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Fisette, Piper, KS and Beverly (Darrell) Weaver, Colorado Springs, CO.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 9-10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
