Neva M. Duncan

Neva M. Duncan, 92, of Shawnee, KS, passed away, Monday, February 20, 2012 at Trinity Nursing and Rehab.

Neva was born in Elk City, OK. She worked as a manager for Southwestern Bell before her retirement. She was a member of Merriam Christian Church. Her husband, William Duncan, died in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a son William, and her brothers, John and Edward Corriea. Survivors include a son, Woodrow Duncan and his wife, Regina, of Shawnee, KS; a daughter-in-law, Sue Duncan, of Lansing, KS; a sister, Amelia Osteen and her husband, William, of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Tim (Rachel), Brian (Shane), John, Wendy (John), and Steven (Cynthia) and great grandchildren, Miya, Hannah, Josh, Seth, Hayden, Natalie, Diana, Jake, Alexandria, Doyle, Sydney, and Griffin.

Visitation and Graveside Services

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 - 12:30 p.m., Thursday at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. The family suggests contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
