Ofelia G. Liston, 66, of Shawnee, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Ofelia was born December 3, 1948 in Cadon, Phillipines. Ofelia worked as a Quality Control Process Engineer for over 20 years with Legacy Technology. Ofelia married Mark Liston on March 2, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She enjoyed tending to her garden and growing flowers.

Ofelia is preceded in death by her brother, Renato Gabayan. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Liston; a step-son, Lief Liston; sister, Ida Marbella and husband Manny; brother, Casildo Gabayan, Jr. and wife Aleli; brother, Enrique Gabayan and wife Cynthia; and her three feline friends, Callie, Speedy and Missy.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 15 at the Amos Family Funeral Home, where a rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS.
