Pat Kurtzman

Pat Kurtzman, 69, of Overland Park, KS, passed away, Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the Kansas City Hospice House.

Pat was born in Moline, IL. She was a cafeteria manager with the Shawnee Mission School District for over 30 years, retiring in January of this year. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Bob, in 1990. She is survived by her children, Ashley Kurtzman, Eddie Kurtzman, Joe Kurtzman, and Shelly Kurtzman; a brother, Steve Taylor; three sisters, Judy Tinker, Shirley Stroschein, and Debbie Miner; three grandchildren, Jacob Kurtzman, Courtney Kurtzman, and Frankie Miner, and two great grandchildren, Peyton Kurtzman and Abel Kurtzman and her beloved dog, Emmy.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Friday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday at the Amos Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care.
