Patricia Ann Carl, 73, of Lenexa, KS passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Nottingham Nursing and Rehab in Olathe, KS.

Patricia was born September 23, 1942 to the late Charles and Alma Wolkey in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1960. On August 12, 1965 she married Philip Carl; he preceded her in death on September 17, 2015. Patricia enjoyed spending time outside with her family and grandchildren. She loved hunting, fishing, and berry picking. Patricia always put her family above her own needs and loved pampering her grandkids and cooking family meals.

She is also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Wolkey.

Patricia is survived by daughter, Barbara (Nelson) Pineda and their children, Joseph, Jessica and Joshua of Overland Park, KS; two sons, Terry (Jennifer) Carl and their children, Alexander, Courtney, Caitlyn and Ashley of Lenexa, KS and Gary (Janette) Carl and their children, Janelle, Shannon and Garyn of Louisburg, KS; four sisters, Sharon (Kenneth) Hilt; Judy (Phil) Warren; Rita (Bill) Salser; Rosemary (Glenn) Ridgway. Patricia was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her great grandson, Maverick Wayne in October.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, at the Amos Family Funeral Home, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial following at the Resurrection Cemetery.
