Patricia Maria Garvin Debolt

October 17, 1965 — October 7, 2020

Patricia Garvin DeBolt, 54, passed away suddenly in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday evening, October 7, 2020.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 17, 1965, she was the daughter of Cleve Patrick Garvin and Elisa A. Garvin.

A motorcycling enthusiast, Patricia enjoyed long rides with her friends and volunteering to raise money for those in need.  She embraced the motorcycle community wholeheartedly.

Her always infectious smile and live life to the fullest attitude will survive in the memories of her dear friends and family.  Patricia was a loving mother to Justin, Ashleigh and Lauren and loved to take care of and spoil her grandchildren Jaiden and Mason.  Her enthusiasm and love of people was a great asset in her early career as a pastry chef at PB&J Restaurants, as a broker with Osage Marketing, as a Marketing Associate at Sysco Food, and as a Sales Associate for eyewear first with Aspex Eyewear and finally with The McGee Group.

Patricia loved everyone she knew but was not afraid to tell it like it is.  She lived in the moment and passed away doing what she loved to do. She was extremely passionate and involved in the Kansas City English Bulldog Rescue and fostered her own bulldog named Ruby.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her many friends and family. She is survived by her three children: Justin Ryan Nelson (36), Ashleigh N. Nelson (34) and Lauren R. Nelson (32); her grandchildren Mason and Jaiden; her mother Elisa A. Garvin; her stepmother Helen B. Neal; her brothers Gregory M. Garvin (Elizabeth), Sean C. Garvin (Lisha), Matthew R. Garvin (Jacqueline) and stepsister Jennifer Zabetakis.

Private family services are being held.
