Patricia June Fisher

Patricia J. Fisher, 79, of Lenexa, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at The Sweet Life of Rosehill.

Pat was born June 6, 1930 to Frederick and Gladys (Tolman) Fisher in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1948. Pat started working for Great Lakes Pipeline and Williams Brothers in 1951 as an Executive Secretary. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967, and retired in 1986. In 1995 Pat returned to the Kansas City area to be closer to her family. Pat loved the great outdoors, and traveling. Most of all Pat loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Gladys and two brothers, Donald and Dean Fisher. Pat is survived by her sister Shirley Bone, Lenexa, Kansas; two nephews, Don Fisher and wife Charlene, Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Steven and his wife Yvonne, Bonner Springs, Kansas; two nieces, Stacia Kepler and husband Ric, Kansas City, Kansas; Cindy Fisher, Port Orange, Florida; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contribution be made to the Shawnee United Methodist Church, 10700 Johnson Dr., Shawnee, Kansas 66203 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at Monticello Cemetery.
