Patricia Y. Frishman, 66, of Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Sharon Lane Care Center.

Trish was born February 2, 1952 to the late Antone and Doris Kanak in Garden City, Kansas.  Trish retired from the GSA in 2003, after 35 years of service.  She enjoyed writing poetry and about her everyday life.  She was especially proud of winning a poetry contest and having her work published.  Trish had a green thumb, and enjoyed gardening, tending to her potted plants and being outside.  After retirement, Trish was able to turn her love of wheeling and dealing for antiques into a source of income.  She started her own antique business called "Trish the Dish Collectible's".

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael and Robert Kankak.  Trish is survived by her sons, Bradley Frishman and Bryan Frishman; longtime friend, John Frishman and brother, Mark Kanak.

Celebration of Life Services

Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 24th at the Amos Family Funeral Home. A celebration of Trish's life will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the  Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Trish's honor to the family.
