Patricia A. “Pat” Horn

Patricia A. "Pat" Horn, 88, died on Wednesday, June 6 2018. Pat was born December 7, 1929 to J. Luther Price and D. Ruth Price in Centralia, Illinois. She moved with her family to St. Louis as a child and graduated from Normandy High School in St. Louis in 1947. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. After graduating with a degree in Education in 1951, she moved back to St. Louis and was an elementary teacher in the Normandy School District. She married William (Bill) Horn in 1953. They raised 4 children and lived primarily in St. Louis but also resided for a short time in Columbia and also Kansas City, Missouri.

Pat was always involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives. She was a bible school teacher, Boy Scout Den leader and class room mother and attended countless sporting events, recitals and school events. Her hobbies included reading and playing bridge and she was active in the Normandy alumni and Kappa Kappa Gamma alumni groups.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill and son Dan. She is survived by daughter Jill (Sam) Hamacher, son Jeff (Laurie) Horn, daughter-in-law Joni Horn, and daughter Becky (Rick) Dobbs. She has 10 grandchildren, Stacy (Paul) Woodward, Courtney Hamacher, Kim Hamacher, Kyle (Katy) Hamacher, Michelle Horn, Erin Horn, Kelly Dobbs, Kevin Dobbs, Lainey Horn and Eric Horn and 2 great  grandchildren, Jamie and Sophie Woodward. She is also survived by her sister Molly Hunt and her sons Clay (Karen) Hunt and John Hunt.
