Patty Lightfoot Klein, 57, of Shawnee, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, at her home with her loving family at her side.

Patty was born April 10, 1961, to the late Thomas and JoAnne Lightfoot in Kansas City, Kansas.  She graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 1978.   After high school, Patty started a lifetime of learning, she attended Kansas City Medical and Dental College where she became a Medical Assistant.  She continued her education at Johnson County Community College where she became a Certified Medical Assistant and was on the Dean's List.

Patty was a loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed passing on her talents to her grandchildren. Patty was a talented seamstress, baker and crafted amazing wreaths for friends and family.

Patty is survived by her three children, Shawn Klein, Megan Klein, and Jeremy Klein and wife Sara; four sisters, Connie Harris-Hensley, Peggy Remy and husband Charles, Krista Speer and husband Rick, and Anita Gemsky; three grandchildren, Christian Klein, Ryleigh Klein and Joseph Klein.

Patty's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Patty's friends that helped with her care.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m,. Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the Amos Family Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m.,  Friday, August 10, 2018, at the funeral home, with burial following in Pleasant View Cemetery, Shawnee, Kansas.
