She danced into the arms of Jesus in Heaven, and was reunited with her husband Michael M. She met Michael, the love of her life, in high school, following their roles as heroine and villain in H.M.S. Pinafore.  They married and lived for more than 20 years in Shawnee, KS.    Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Michael M. Koenig (D.D.S., F.A.G.D) and is survived by her four children: Jeannie New (Tim), Sue Dennis (Darren), Mike Koenig (Masami), and Doug Koenig (Dani); as well as ten grandchildren: Jacob New (Claire), Natalie New, Sophia New, Jonathan Dennis, David Dennis, Steven Dennis, Michael Koenig, Mariko Koenig, Megan Koenig, and James Koenig.  She is survived by her siblings: Tim Wilson (Mary Ann), Peggy Turner, and Michael Wilson (Chris).  Her sister Gerre Brown (Jerry) preceded her in death.  She is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law Toni Galvin, Fred Koenig (Nancy), Kitty Schultz (Art), Anni Bax (Steve), and Berni Wheeler (Tony), and is preceded in death by Jude Koenig (Mary Ann) and Margaret Mary Koenig.   Pat was an avid sports fan who loved Notre Dame football, KU basketball, Sporting KC, and the Royals.  She was dedicated to charitable work, including the Ladies of Charity, Cristo Rey, and the Sisters Servants of Mary.     Pat loved music and sang for years with the Johnson County Parks & Recreation Side by Side Experience, and the Good Shephard Catholic Church choir.  She loved singing Christmas Eve mass with the Sisters Servants of Mary.  She was active with her children in Johnson County 4-H and continued to attend the county fair to cheer on her grandchildren.     In December she was celebrated as an MPN Hero in San Diego, CA for her 60+ years battling a rare blood cancer and her encouragement to others with cancer.
