Patricia A. Lutz

Patricia A. Lutz, 81, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Trinity Nursing and Rehab, following a brief illness.

Pat was born St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to James and Teresa Grindinger Cannon. She graduated from Bishop Lillis High School and received her nursing degree from St. Mary's Hospital. She and her husband, Bill, operated Lutz Plumbing for many years until their retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and she was an avid KU Basketball and Kansas City Royals fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband William A. (Bill) Lutz, Jr. in 1999. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Gregg) Sadler, Jim Lutz, Bill Lutz, Tim (Becky) Lutz, Mary Pat (Mark) Cahill, and John (Cindy) Lutz; a brother, John "Jack" and wife, Beverly, Cannon; seven grandchildren, Gina Sadler Sullivan, Amber Lutz Sewell, Brett Cahill, Lauren Cahill, Taylor Lutz, Kaitlin Lutz, and Jamie Lutz, and a great grandson William "Liam" Sewell.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. John Cemetery, Lenexa. Visitation will be 9 - 11 a.m., Saturday at the church.
