Patricia Rieke Lynch

Patricia "Pat" Rieke Lynch, 92, died at Brookdale Rosehill in Shawnee, March 13, 2021. Patricia was born at her parents' home in Shawnee Kansas on November 24, 1928. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School. She married John C. Lynch on November 26, 1946 who preceded her in death. She was a lifetime parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion #327 auxiliary.

She leaves behind her sons, John (Jack) and Robert Lynch, of Shawnee and Craig (Linda) Lynch of Joplin, MO. She also leaves behind her three girls, Wendy (Glen) Hoelting, Kim (Paul) Nachbar of Shawnee, and Lisa (Andrew) Vanlerberg of Stilwell, KS. She had a total of 7 granddaughters, 16 great-grandkids and 3 great-great grandkids. She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved so much.  She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette; her great-grandson Andrew Mason Nachbar; her parents, A.C. and Effie Rieke; 11 siblings and many friends.

Her family would like to thank her special caregivers Dorothy and Laura at Brookdale Shawnee as well as Kayla and Trisha from Catholic Community Hospice.

Funeral mass will be, 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2021,  at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.
