Patricia M. Meyer

Pat Meyer, 74, of Shawnee, KS, passed, January 7, 2016 at her home.

Pat was one of eight children and was born May 20, 1941 in Wichita, KS to Joseph and Connie Ryan Fern. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1959. She married, Robert Meyer at St. Joseph Church on June 10, 1960. Together they raised their family in Shawnee. She was a real estate agent for many years.

Pat was a very devoted member of the Catholic Church and attended adoration on a daily basis. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bob; her children, Lori, Bob, Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, Tim and his wife Laurie, and Jim. Grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jacob; Tate; Timothy, Tyler, Tatum; and her siblings, Mike, Joe, Jimmy, Kevin, and Mary. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Johnny, and a sister, Connie Jo.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be 5:30 - 8 p.m., Monday at the Amos Family Funeral Home where the Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p. m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Padre Pio Foundation of America, 436 Main St., Cromwell, CT 06416 or the National Parkinson's Foundation.
