Patricia C. Oakson

Pat Oakson, 67, took an early flight beyond the physical plane Friday, Nov. 1. The Overland Park resident and KU alumna will be remembered for her love of sports and her razor-sharp wit. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Lindy Silver, her brother and his wife, Bob and C.J. Gray, and 11 nieces and nephews. She lives on any time you hug a dog or are nice to a stranger.

An in-home wake will be Saturday, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m. at 11713 England Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66210.
