Patricia Quinn, 65, Mission, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Bickford at Mission Springs Assisted Living, Mission, Kansas. Pat died of a long term illness but her family was at her side.
She was a registered nurse for 42 years having worked at St. Mary's Hospital, Trinity Lutheran Hospital and Menorah Medical Center. She has been a member of the St. Andrew Society many, many years and was president of the organization with ensuing offices. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
Pat was a dear, dear sister who loved and cared for us as well as her extended family. She was a quiet well revered professional and friend who loved to travel, and she accomplished that goal well.
Pat leaves behind two sisters: Mary (John D.) Van Groll, Appleton Wisconsin and Catherine (William Jr.) Gates , Kansas City Kansas; nieces and nephews, John R. Van Groll, Paul Quinn Van Groll and Camille Van Groll of Appleton Wisconsin and Dustin R. Gates of M.D. and Justin J. Gates of Kansas City Kansas; and her closest friend of over 40 years Carol Duncan and her family. She was preceeded in death by a brother John Richard Quinn (1956) mother, Felicia Finnegan Quinn (1983) and father Richard Anthony Quinn (1989).
She was a loving and kind person with a heart of gold and will be sorely missed. God bless and keep her.

Visitation and Funeral Service
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5130 Mission Road, Roeland Park, Kansas. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Msgr. Michael Mullen officiating.
