Patrick Stephen Pippin

May 30, 1985 — July 16, 2015

Patrick Stephen Pippin, 30, unfairly passed away July 16, 2015. He left this world too soon, but in his wake, we find him still. Patrick exists in the color blue, present in the sky above our heads and in the depths of our hearts. We find him in the flat-billed hats that he wore every day and we now see as icons of our lost son, brother, friend. We breathe him in the musky scent of his cologne that drifts through the air as we pass a stranger on the street, and we see him as we close our eyes at night and glimpse his smile- his deep, brown eyes, and his large, strong arms that were so good at enwrapping us with love. He touches us in every memory we refuse to let go- the heart to hearts, the mischievous, and the just plain goofy. Patrick is still with us.

Patrick was born in Olathe, Kansas on May 30, 1985 to Lura Jane Deaton and Stephen Lenn Pippin. Patrick graduated from Olathe North High School in 2003. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Lenn Pippin and his grandmother, Coneistea Pippin. Patrick was survived by his mother, Lura Jane Patton, his step-father, Will Patton, his fiancé, Melissa Linder and her six year old son, Bryce, his three sisters, Jaime Sanchez, Brooke Pippin, and Sharon Smith, his grandparents, Estrellita and Wayne Jorgensen and Stan Pippin, five nieces and four nephews, and a lifetime of extended family and deep seeded friendships. Patrick Stephen Pippin will be forever missed by all.
