Patsy Sue Flood, 84, of Shawnee, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Olathe Hospice House.

Patsy was born January 15, 1934 to the late Alva and Ona Franklin in Milan, Missouri.  She graduated from Milan High School in 1951.  Patsy married James E. Flood in 1976.  She was an accounting clerk for Bayer Pharmaceuticals for 23 years before retiring in 1992.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Flood; a brother, Kenneth Franklin; two sisters, Bonnie Franklin; Billie Jean Collins and a   great grandson, John Connor McVay.

Patsy is survived by her children, Cheri Ricky and husband Kevin; Tina Denk and husband Ted; David Mahoney and wife Linda; a brother, David Franklin and wife Gail; seven grandchildren, Jason Burgess and wife Maggie; Beth Kirk; Jennifer McVay and husband Jason; Jacob Denk and Christina Trinder; Candas Cates; Joshua Wetherill; Jayme Mahoney; 11 great grandchildren, Kaleb McDaniel; Kaylea McDaniel; Charles Peterson, IV; Kolten Kirk; Cristopher Peterson; Trenton Snyder; Owen McVay; Hope Snyder; Avery McVay; Madison Denk, Ryan Wetherill and Jaden Denk.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Friday, April 6 at the Amos Family Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home.  Patsy will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa.
