Paul David Rupert

Paul David Rupert, 86, Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away November 19, 2015 at the Olathe Medical Center Hospice House.

Paul was born in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, on December 5, 1928 to Lynn H. and Hazel L. Rupert. He graduated from Iola High School in 1948. He married Anna Louise Switzer June 4, 1950 in Iola, Kansas.

Paul was a laborer working as a carpet cleaner for years then as a custodian at some area churches.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise, his mother, father, two brothers and five sisters.

Paul is survived by his four children, Peggy (Randy) Stephens of Olathe, Kansas, Steven (Mary) Rupert of Kansas City, Kansas, Larry (Doris) Rupert of Pleasanton , Kansas, and Paul (Beverly) Rupert Jr., of Roeland Park, Kansas.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Amy (David) McWhirk, Ashley (Nick) Sprowl, Christine Rupert, Jonathan Rupert, Keresa Wilson, Jennifer (Bryan) Schrepel, Mindy Rupert, Eric Rupert, Kathie Rupert, and six great-grandchildren.

We love you and miss you, Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa.

Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas. Following the service, he will be buried along side his wife at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas.
