Paul J. Schubert, Sr.

Paul J. Schubert, Sr., Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011.

Paul was born May 11, 1923, in Henley, Missouri. He married the “pretty girl in the pink dress,” Ellen Robinett, on September 5, 1942, and she survives him of the home. Paul was a hard-working family man. At age 11, he held his first grocery store job, and he worked as a meat-cutter for many years in the Kansas City area. A Navy veteran, he served in the Pacific during World War II.

He is survived by his wife and six children: Paul (Molly), Bob (Denise), Steve, Carolyn (Steve) Frisbie, Bill (Sandy), and Kelly (Steve) Onions. Also in this large, loving family are 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2011, at Hope Lutheran Church, 6308 Quivira Road, Shawnee, Kansas. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
