Paula Sue Layton

Paula Sue Layton, 53, of Overland Park, Kansas died at her home on December 29, 2022.

Paula was born on August 20, 1969 in Fillmore, New York to her parents, Robert and Grace (Moore) Layton.

Throughout her life Paula had a passion for learning; acquiring her Master’s degree from Friends University and working in the mental health field.  Recently Paula shifted her focus to flower gardening and her love for plants was beautifully displayed in her own backyard.  Paula loved her pets and was a devoted caregiver to her dogs, Kias, Jack and Cash and her cat, Thomas.

Paula will be dearly missed by her parents, her brother, Edward Layton; sister, Beth (Layton) Velkow and brother-in-law, Murray Velkow.  Paula was a loving Aunt to Mac and Sam Downey.
