Phil W. Carl

Phil W. Carl, 72, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, KS.

Phil was born June 13, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Wallace and Ethel Carl. He was a 1961 graduate of Bonner Springs High School. On August 12, 1965, Phil married Patricia Wolkey in Kansas City, KS. Phil was a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Ancestry.com, woodworking, helping people and especially spoiling his grandchildren.

Phil is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Carl; daughter, Barbara (Nelson) Pineda and their children, Joseph, Jessica and Joshua of Overland Park, KS; two sons, Terry (Jennifer) Carl and their children, Alexander, Courtney, Caitlyn and Ashley of Lenexa, KS and Gary (Janette) Carl and their children, Janelle, Shannon and Garyn of Louisburg, KS; three sisters, Nancy Harcrow, Carla Noble, Caryn Fenton; and brother, Daniel Carl all of Center, TX.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22nd at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in the Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
