Phil S. Holden

Phil S. Holden, 73, of Desoto, KS, passed away on September 27, 2018. He was born on October 14, 1944 in Hanna, OK, to Alvie and Flora Holden. Phil is survived by his wife, Janna Holden; children, Donita (Lennis) Berkland of Polk City, IA, Derek (Stephanie) Holden of Mankato, MN; siblings, Raymond (Charlene) Holden of Tulsa, OK, Francis Whitehead of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Shelby Berkland, Kayla Holden, and Nathan Holden. Phil without pause accepted his battle with cancer with strength and dignity, wasting not a moment of life to complain. He was proud of his time spent in the United States Army with the 7th ID. After 38 years, Phil retired from QuikTrip Corporation. Throughout his life, the outdoors were Phil's refuge. Fishing and hunting allowed him to create precious memories with family/friends. His unconditional love for family and friends are something that will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2019.
