Philip Randall Bradley

August 12, 1954 — November 17, 2010

Philip Randall Bradley was born on August 12, 1954, in Winfield, Kansas, to Phillip L. and Betty McGowan Bradley. He passed away on November 17, 2010, at home in Shawnee, Kansas.

Randy attended Winfield Public Schools and graduated from Winfield High School in 1972. He also attended and graduated from Southwestern College in 1976. After graduating he attended Dallas Seminary and became an ordained priest. He served Catholic churches in Pittsburg, Kansas, Hutchinson, Kansas, Wichita, Kansas and Council Grove, Kansas.

Upon leaving the priesthood, he worked for the City of Winfield. During this time he earned a second degree in biology from Southwestern College.

For the past several years he lived in Shawnee, Kansas, and worked with Barber Financial Group. He was a member of Winfield Masonic Lodge #110 and OES #138.

He is preceded in death by his father, sister, Patricia Bradley, grandparents Earl and Margaret Waldorf McGowan, and Walter and Margaret Mackey Bradley.

He is survived by his mother; three sisters, Penny Fell, Pamela Anderson and husband Darwin Anderson, and Paula Bradley; nephews Ryan and Brandon Fell; and half-sister Morea Powell.

Funeral Services

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Crossroads Christian Church, 5855 Renner Road, Shawnee, Kansas 66217.

An additional funeral service will be held in Winfield, Kansas at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 22, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements are being coordinated through Swisher-Taylor Funeral Home, Winfield, Kansas.
