Phyllis Nadine Brooks

Phyllis Nadine Brooks, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away December 7th, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm, Friday, December 15th at Antioch Pioneer Cemetery, 7450 Antioch Rd, Merriam, Kansas 66204.

Phyllis was born August 11th, 1936 in Pratt, Kansas to James and Ethyl Horne. She used her time to do things she liked such as sewing, reading, making crafts and watching Chiefs football. She was a retired bookkeeper.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; ex-husbands WR Tatro and Fred Bender; daughter Dana Pearman; her son in law Bruce Taft; grandson Johnathan Taft and great granddaughter Brandy Potter. She is survived by her brother Jerry Emming; daughter Diana Taft; good friend Yvette Burke; ex-husband Leon Brooks; grandchildren Catherine Savage, Nichole Potter, Christopher Taft and Dusty DeMoussett; along with 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
