Phyllis Marie Jones

Phyllis Jones, 86, passed away May 8th, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born April 18th, 1935, to Roger and Helen Marie (Holmquist) Lagerberg in Salina, Kansas. She was married for 66 years and raised 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her greatest sense of pride was watching her children grow and have families of their own. She was a loving wife, a wonderful role-model mother, grandmother and Big Muga to her Littles. She loved fishing at Legend Lake, watching KU basketball, playing gigs with her Jazz bands and quilting and exercising with her church friends.
Her family is thankful for all those close to her, as you impacted her life more than you will ever know.
A private celebration of life will be held this summer.
