Rachel Shoemaker

Rachel Shoemaker, 41, of Lenexa, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Rachel was born April 15, 1971, at Clark Airbase in the Philippines. Rachel enjoyed taking island vacations and whitewater rafting in Colorado.

She is survived by her father Lynn Shoemaker and wife Mary; a sister, Tina Sattman and husband Todd; two brothers, Paul Shoemaker and wife Jennifer and James Shoemaker; two step brothers, Mike Shoemaker and Rick Shoemaker; and many beloved nieces nephews and friends.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson, Mission, Kansas 66205.
