Ralph T. Seeck of Lenexa, KS, passed away September 27, 2015 at the age of 88. Devoted husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn R. Seeck (nee Dodge). Family members include daughter Valerie Miller (husband William Miller) of Lenexa; and Sharon Barkin of Denton, TX; grandchildren Amy Miller of Watsonville, CA; Brent Miller (wife Anya) of Lenexa; Kirsten Barkin and Zachary Barkin of Denton. Ralph resided at Covenant Place of Lenexa and previously was a long-time resident of Bella Vista, AR and Elmhurst, IL. He attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and worked as corporate controller for the National Association of Retail Druggists (NARD). An active member of St. Theodore’s Episcopal Church (and Shepherd’s Group) in Bella Vista, AR, and Church of Our Savior in Elmhurst, IL, he sang in both church choirs for many years. An avid contract bridge player, Ralph attained the status of Grand Life Master. A lifelong fisherman and sports fan, he supported the Chicago Bears and White Sox. He was known for his sunny nature, enjoyment of casino day trips and enthusiasm for winning at bingo. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Covenant Place. Private services were held at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral.
