Ralph G. Warren

Ralph G. Warren, age 90 of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away June 26, 2013, on his birthday at Shawnee Gardens.

Ralph was born June 26, 1923, in Pana, Illinois, to J. Harold and Doris E Warren. Ralph was the first Shawnee Police Chief, establishing the department in 1953. Ralph proudly served his country in the Navy Air Corps and served in WWII. Ralph was a manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 38 years. On February 14, 1946, Ralph married Edna Noe on Long Island New York.

He is survived by his wife Edna; sons, John M. and Tim A. Warren; daughters, Merry Carol Mance, and Maureen Lauderdale; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:-8:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday July 2, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial in Resurrection Mausoleum, Lenexa, Kansas.
