Rev. Lloyd R. Bilhimer, 86, of Baldwin City, Kansas, passed away September 9, 2010.
Lloyd was born February 5, 1924 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Harold A. and Lena O. (Lynn) Bilhimer. He served in the US Navy following graduation from Shawnee Mission High School. He Trained in Chicago and was deployed on the Antiweta Cruiser Battleship. Lloyd was united in marriage to Mary Jean Grinter in 1947. He graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, in 1948.
He served as pastor of Shawnee Assembly of God, Dodge City Assembly of God, Wichita First Assembly of God, Lawrence First Assembly of God, Argentine and Baldwin City Assembly of God, McPherson, Kansas Assembly of God and in Dearborn Michigan.
He is survived by his wife Jean Bilhimer, his sons, Steve, David, and Jim Bilhimer, and a daughter, Lisa Pippert, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-granchildren. He is also survived by a brother Glen Bilhimer and a sister Lois Bear of Shawnee, Kansas. Lloyd was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He touched many lives through his ministry.

Visitation and Graveside Service
A visitation will be held Sunday, September 12, 2010, from 5 to 7 pm at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 13, 2010, at 1:00 pm at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
