Richard Lee Miller

Richard Lee Miller, 66, Shawnee, KS passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Shawnee Gardens Nursing Center. Richard was born Nov. 20, 1948 in Paola, KS to Harold and Eva Miller. He was a graduate of Paola High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Emporia State University. Richard was a veteran of the US Army. On August 9, 1969, Richard married Karen Sue Blessing at the First Baptist Church of Shawnee. He retired from the US Postal Service as a supervisor.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Sue Blessing-Miller. Survivors include daughter, Christin (Doug) Vossen; son, Paul (Andrea) Miller; six grandchildren, Katelyn, Taylor, Jacob, Samuel, Carson and Reese all of Shawnee, KS; and brother, Gary Miller, San Diego, CA.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation.
