Rick Eisenbarth

Rick Eisenbarth, 65, of Lenexa, KS passed away on November 6th, 2019. He was born in Onaga, KS on December 17th, 1953 to Walter and Velma Eisenbarth. Rick earned his Bachelor's Degree from Emporia State majoring in Physical Education. He went on to teach in the DeSoto School District as a PE Teacher for thirty years. He met his soulmate, Angie, at Monticello Trails Middle School in 1995. They were joined in marriage in 1998.

During his free time, Rick loved to spend time on the golf course and watch all sports. He loved to cook and would often surprise Angie with his new recipes.  Each summer, Rick looked forward to his annual BP camping trips with all of his best friends. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Frederick Eisenbarth. He is survived by his wife, Angie; sister, Linda Eisenbarth; nieces, Megan and Jamie Eisenbarth; nephew, Alex Eisenbarth; his beloved pets, Kirby and Boo and many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203 on Saturday, November 9th from 2-4 PM.
