Robert F. Billings

Robert “Bob” Billings, 74, of Lenexa, KS, formerly of Shawnee, passed away, Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be private. Bob was born in Clinton, MO. He was a graduate of Turner High School.    He married Chris Williams on August 2nd, 1969. They celebrated 51 years of marriage in 2020.    He retired from SOR Inc. after 39 years in 2005. He then went on to work for Kansas City Valve and Fitting in his later years. He took great pride in his work. Bob was a jack of many trades. He loved working with his hands in construction, woodworking and mechanical configuration. He enjoyed traveling, hunting in his early years, working on classic cars, racing cars, riding motorcycles, and he had a heart for dogs. He loved his family dearly.    He is survived by his wife, Chris; daughters, Amy Billings and Carrie (Doug) Redway; sister Nancy Inlow; sister-in-law Judy (Clark) Martineau, and several nephews and nieces.
