Robert "Rob" Cramblett, born January 20, 1964, passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2025, in Shawnee, KS, at the age of 61. Rob was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who inspired all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rob's journey began with a profound commitment to his country, having enlisted in the United States Army where he showcased his dedication and leadership from an early age. Fueled by a passion for learning and self-improvement, he pursued higher education and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Sustainability, and Technology from Kent State University. His academic achievements paved the way for him to become an Officer through ROTC, further solidifying his path as a leader and mentor.
As a Military Intelligence Officer, Rob served bravely during Operation Desert Shield in Saudi Arabia. He led a team of soldiers on numerous expeditions, gathering crucial intelligence overseas. His career was marked by courage, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to his fellow servicemen and women.
After his distinguished military career, Rob transitioned into the field of logistics, where he thrived as a manager, spearheading a new division. He trained sales professionals and excelled in fast-paced environments, always leading by example. His latest role was in business communications at Lineage Accelerate in Lenexa. In every role he undertook, Rob demonstrated remarkable leadership and a passion for excellence.
Outside of his professional life, Rob found joy in the great outdoors. He loved working out, running, and lifting weights, and he cherished hunting trips in Ohio. Weekly hikes with his wife Angi and daughter Grace were a testament to his love for nature and family. Rob was a devoted Christian who found comfort in reading the Bible every morning and was always eager to share the gospel with others.
Known for his kindness and willingness to help, Rob touched the lives of everyone he encountered, always seeing the best in people and never meeting a stranger.
Rob's culinary skills brought joy to many, and he delighted in cooking for his loved ones. His greatest pride and joy were his beloved wife, Angi Cramblett, and his cherished daughter, Grace Cramblett, who survive him. He is also survived by his sister Joy McDonald and brother Joel Cramblett. Preceding him in death are his father, Nelson Cramblett, a United States Navy veteran; his mother, Delores Cramblett; his twin sister, Robin Newbrough; and his niece, Julie Newbrough.
Rob's life was a tapestry of service, love, and dedication. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and inspiration that will continue to guide and uplift all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rob's life at the following services: A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on Monday, February 3, 2025 at The Amos Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, KS 66203. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Cross Points Church, 6824 Lackman Rd, Shawnee, KS 66217. Robert will be laid to rest at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 1:30pm, Tuesday following his funeral.
Rob will be dearly missed, but his spirit and the memories he created will forever remain in our hearts.
