Robert Earl Harding, Jr.

Robert Earl Harding, Jr., 72, of Overland Park, Kansas died at his home on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Rob was born on September 5, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Rev. Robert and Glaphre (Taylor) Harding.

He attended school in Minneapolis, Minnesota and later attended college at Point Loma College in San Diego, California.

Rob was a kind man who loved to talk about politics and watch movies. He also loved to read and was a great listener. He was an adventurous person who enjoyed skydiving and traveling, especially cruises.

For over 42 years, Rob was involved in a 12 step-program where he helped himself and others become better people. He loved his animals despite his many allergies to them. He may be missed most by his beloved dog, Murphy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Brandon Harding.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Harding; children, Ryan (Brittany) Harding, Joel (Lining) Harding; four grandchildren; step-daughter, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; biological mother, Ann Starnes; sister and two brothers.

Per Rob’s wishes no services are planned, a family gathering will be planned at a later date.
