Robert Joseph Higgins

Robert Joseph Higgins, 58, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Manorcare of Overland Park.

Robert was born June 15, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, to Marvin B. and Elsie Higgins. He attended St. Joseph Elementary and High School, graduating in 1971. Robert also attended Johnson County Community College.

Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Higgins in 2008. Survivors include his parents, Marvin and Elsie Higgins, Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Kathryn Higgins, and husband, Norman Bryant and Ruth Howe and husband, Thomas, all of Lenexa, Kansas; brother, John Higgins and wife, Regina, Shawnee, Kansas; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2012, at the funeral home; entombment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
