Bob was born on July 13, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas, of Estella Mae Kerr (Ennis) and Robert Ward Kerr. Bob was devoted to his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, who took great personal pride in always being there for his loved ones. In his own words, Bob said, "Watching so many boys develop into young men has been its own reward."
Bob loved gardening, fishing, camping and hunting trips to Colby, Kansas. He had a passion for carpentry for 50 years, both at home and at work. Bob served in the Navy and was a member of the Abdallah Shrine Oriental Band of Kansas City, Kansas.
