Robert E. McCoy 76, De Soto, KS passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center. A funeral will be 11 am, Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, KS; burial in Shawnee Mission Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Amos Family Funeral Home.
Robert was born on January 6, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas to Marjorie Lulu (Williams) and Curtis R. McCoy.
Bob had a passion for Jesus and traveling. Jesus was the love of his life and Judy was an extremely close second! Bob and Judy were married 56 years! He wanted everyone to know that Jesus should be number one. Bob was never afraid to share the word to others. He loved to travel for pleasure and to tell others about his Love for Jesus. He traveled to at least 21 Countries and all 50 States. Bob and Judy spent 2 years in China teaching English and showing those around them the love of Jesus. He had a heart for missions and loved serving others. Bob loved Judy with his whole heart and he showed his boys and grandchildren what a faithful committed marriage looked like! Bob left an amazing legacy of faith, love, family and no fear of life! Without a doubt he knew he would enter the golden gates and meet Jesus face to face!
Bob is survived by his wife Judy McCoy; brother Jim (Rosemary) and sister, Lynda; 2 sons Bobby, Sean (Andrea); 7 Grandchildren Mikayla, Mikenzie (Zach) Crumpley, Lucas (Mya), Layce, Gabriel (son of Bobby), DJ, Lexi; Great grandchildren Kylyn, Karstyn, Kaysley Crumpley.
