Robert Dean Renfrow

Robert (Bob) Dean Renfrow, 73, of Lenexa, KS, died, Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Advent Health Shawnee Mission in Merriam, KS. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Manchester, IA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Robert was born April 18, 1946 in Manchester to Virgil and Mildred Hansel Renfrow. He married his high school sweetheart, Gayle Mangold on August 27, 1966. They moved to the Kansas City area in 1968.

Robert worked as a civil engineer for Black & Veatch for 42 years, retiring in 2010.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Maynard Renfrow and a sister, June Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 53  years, Gayle; twin daughters, Ann (Chris) O'Connor and Sara (Fred) Gude; four grandchildren, Emma and Grant Gude and Abby and Nicholas O'Connor; two sisters, Janice (Ron)  Behnken and Jean (Bob) Ungs, a brother, Chuck Renfrow, sisters-in-law Lolita (Robert) Kulper and Elaine (Gary) Atkinson and numerous nieces and nephews.
