Robert E. Viard, Jr., 59, of Shawnee, KS passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his home.

Robert was born September 7, 1959 to Barbara and Robert Viard in Kansas City, MO.  He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 1977.  He worked as a Project Engineer for Midwest Conveyor and Beumer Corp. before retiring in 2015.

Robert is preceded in death by his biological father, Robert, second father, Grady Gregory, a sister, Vickie Wahl, a sister in law, Debi Gregory and a niece, Amanda Pratt.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara; two sisters, Shelley Gilmore and husband Bill; Elaine Lindstrom and husband Paul; four brothers, Michael Gregory; Kirt Gregory and wife Julie; Jeff Viard; Craig Gregory and wife Lisa; five nephews, Shawn Traxson; Nate Wahl; Aaron Pratt and wife Jessica; Tyler Gregory; Travis Gregory and wife Faith; three nieces, Hannah Benisch and husband Chris; Caitlin Kelly and husband Trynt; Denah Gregory and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Service

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Robert will be laid to rest in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
