Son of Paula Amos Upton; brother of Robert Bailey, Daniel Bailey, and William Bailey; father of Paul (Regina) Bailey, Maria (Kevin) Klassen, Rachel Bailey, and Brendan Bailey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (the historic stone chapel) 13615 W. 92nd Street, Lenexa, Kansas, with inurnment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in the Prince of Peace Mausoleum, 8321 Quivira Road, Lenexa, Kansas.
