Ted Gepford of Stillwell, Kansas passed away on June 24, 2016. Ted was born November 16, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ted and Marjorie Gepford. Ted proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Westport High school, UMKC and Rockhurst College. Ted taught in the Kansas City, Missouri School District for over 25 years. Ted is survived by his wife, Linda, his children, Kathleen Williams, Maureen Wheeler, Pat Gepford, Gisele (John) Garcia, Mike Gepford and Ann (Albert) Lightle, sister, Mary Jo Pflumm, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, son, Tom Gepford, brother-in-law, Bud. The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregivers; Christine, Misty, Tinu and Kansas City Hospice.

Services

Visitation is set for 9:30 ~ 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203 with A Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30 AM. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
